A leading recruitment agency is seeking a HV Site Manager in Peterhead for a high-profile infrastructure project. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with safety standards, and manage the installation of high voltage equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in site leadership and HSE practices, along with certifications like SMSTS and First Aid. We are currently looking for a HV Site Manager in the Peterhead area. This is a large high profile infrastructure scheme for SSE.
This role is inside IR35
Site Leadership: Oversee daily operations for the HV substation/grid connection works, ensuring all teams (subcontractors and direct labor) are aligned with the project schedule.
Safety & Compliance: Act as the primary champion for Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. Conduct site inductions, RAMS reviews, and daily briefings.
Technical Oversight: Manage the installation and commissioning of HV plant equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and cabling systems (up to 132kV/275kV/400kV as required).
Client Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for SSE site representatives, providing progress updates and resolving technical queries or site constraints.
Quality Control: Ensure all works meet the "Right First Time" criteria. Maintain comprehensive site records, quality checksheets, and "As-Built" documentation.
Resource Management: Coordinate the delivery of materials and plant equipment to ensure zero downtime.
