School Site Manager or Caretaker

Location: Harrow
Start: ASAP
Contract: Part-time (Mon-Wed) Term time until July 2026
Setting: Primary School

We are working with a friendly, community driven primary school in Harrow that is looking for a hands on Site Manager or Caretaker to join them as soon as possible. This role keeps the school running smoothly each day, so you will be right at the heart of the school team.

They are looking for someone who:

  • Has solid experience with basic plumbing and electrical work
  • Can take ownership of day to day maintenance and safety checks
  • Enjoys problem solving and keeping a school site safe and welcoming
  • Is reliable, organised and happy working in a busy primary environment
  • Can commit from now until July 2026

Your days will involve carrying out routine maintenance, managing contractors, responding to urgent repairs, keeping the site clean and safe, and being that trusted, go to person for staff and pupils. You will be joining a warm and supportive school community that really values its site team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
