Sessional Tutor – Slough
Hours: 4–12 per week (flexible daytime or evening, Monday to Friday)
Subjects: ESOL, English, Maths, Functional Skills
Pay:PAYE – £25.25 and umbrella – £32.99 per hour

Sanctuary Personnel are looking for an inspiring Sessional Tutor to join our network of education professionals in Slough. The Role

As a Sessional Tutor, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons across ESOL, English, Maths and Functional Skills.

Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of learners, ensuring lessons are inclusive and motivating.

Carry out assessments, set realistic but challenging targets, and track progress effectively.

Embed key themes such as digital skills, safeguarding, Prevent, equality, and wellbeing into your teaching.

Provide learners with constructive feedback, guidance, and encouragement to help them achieve their goals.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, learning plans and achievements.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced educator who is passionate about teaching in adult and community settings. You will have:

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. DTLLS Level 5 or equivalent).

Strong subject knowledge in one or more of the required areas.

Experience delivering accredited and non-accredited programmes to diverse groups of learners.

English and Maths at Level 2 or above (ICT skills desirable).

A commitment to professional development and inclusive teaching practice.
