The children, staff, and governors of Pentyrch Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Senior Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis to start as soon as possible with a contract end date of 17th July 2026. The postholder will be responsible for supporting the children in the school's Specialist Resource Base and also mainstream.

The successful candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities, and work well as part of a dedicated team.

Individuals should ensure that they meet all of the essential requirements detailed in the person specification and note the desirable attributes applicable to the post for which they are applying.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
