Senior Structural Engineer

Edinburgh

First People Solutions is seeking experienced Structural Engineers in Edinburgh who are eager to step into a leadership role or take on a new challenge. We are working with a highly respected consulting engineer renowned for delivering exceptional work across Scotland and the UK.

In this role, you will join as a team leader, overseeing a diverse range of building structure projects across multiple sectors. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in project management-from design and analysis to successful completion. You will also collaborate closely with department heads while actively leading and mentoring a team of engineers, supporting their professional growth.

What we need from you:

• Chartered or close to
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
• Knowledge of all stages of design and construction
• Can work to deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Confidently overseeing a team of dedicated Engineers / Technicians
• Proficient in relevant design software
• Full clean UK drives licence
