Are you a Senior Specialist Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference? Our client, a leading charity dedicated to supporting individuals with brain injuries, is seeking an inspiring and thoughtful professional to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist residential centre, providing vital rehabilitation and care.

Role details

This role is part time 24hours a week and offers a competitive salary of up to £54,710 (pro rata) depending on experience. Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and professional leadership to the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Work autonomously within the team to assess and manage communication impacts on daily life.
  • Collaborate with service users and their social networks to overcome communication barriers.
  • Develop management and rehabilitation plans, seeking specialist assessments as needed.
  • Deliver training to staff and service users\' social networks.
  • Contribute to service and organisational development.

Qualifications
  • A Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Achieved Dysphagia Competencies.
  • Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in ABI.
  • Ability to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload.
  • Minimum of 4 years of qualified experience in complex case management.
