Job Overview

As a Senior Social Worker - Localities you will be responsible for managing complex cases within the locality teams, providing expert advice, and ensuring the delivery of effective social care services. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to promote well-being and safeguard vulnerable populations. This contract-style role offers flexibility and a chance to contribute to critical community work.

Candidate Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals and families within the locality teams.
  • Develop, implement, and review tailored intervention plans.
  • Act as a lead in safeguarding cases, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and support to junior team members.
  • Liaise with external agencies and community organizations to coordinate care.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and case records.
  • Contribute to team meetings and ongoing service development initiatives.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all dealings.
