A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join their Critical Care and Respiratory team in Basildon. The role involves delivering patient-centered physiotherapy interventions for patients in the CCU and respiratory wards. Candidates should have experience in the respiratory or Critical Care field and should be ready to support weekend and emergency on-call rotas. The team is committed to continuous professional development and high-quality patient care.
To be responsible for the Physiotherapy intervention for patients admitted to CCU and the acute respiratory adult inpatient ward. To undertake assessments of respiratory outpatients as required. Prioritise physiotherapy referrals in order to implement effective and timely caseload management. Determine clinical diagnosis and provide physiotherapy treatment indicated as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate care plans, giving specialist clinical/professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals.
This role allows an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care and Respiratory team, who have wide ranging clinical experience, good communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient-centred care.

Candidates will be expected to join and partake in our overnight emergency on call rota and weekend working rotas and previous experience of working within respiratory / Critical Care field is essential. You will also be expected to work as part of a seven day rota.
