Job summary

A children's residential care provider in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated professional to lead shifts and support young people with challenging behaviours. This role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience and a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care. The ideal candidate will have strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent communication skills, and be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children. Who we are looking for…
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential home
  • Be confident leading and organising shifts
  • Understand how to support children and young people who have experienced trauma and display challenging behaviours
  • Demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals
  • Possess excellent communication, reporting, and recording skills
  • Be compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference
  • Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care
  • Be 21 years or over

  • You do not hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care – this is not deemed equivalent.
  • You have not only worked in healthcare, NHS, CQC, or nursery settings.

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted-registered children’s home will not be considered.
