Job summary

A children's residential care provider in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated professional to lead shifts and support young people with challenging behaviours. • Type of YPs: EBD, trauma, challenging behaviours
• Ofsted Rating: Varies across homes
• Ratio of staff to children: High staffing ratios to ensure safety, support, and positive outcomes

Who we are looking for…

• Have at least 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential home
• Be confident leading and organising shifts
• Understand how to support children and young people who have experienced trauma and display challenging behaviours
• Demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals
• Possess excellent communication, reporting, and recording skills
• Be compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference
• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care
• Be 21 years or over
