Overview

A Tier 1 Main Contractor have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, based from their offices near Bedford, Bedfordshire.

The company have a number of different areas within the business that focus on specific types of projects including main contracting / construction, property services, residential, industrial, power, transport and utilities. Their large network of regional offices and strong local relationships ensure that they understand their clients’ and respond to their needs.

They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their construction division, working on projects in a range of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, retail, leisure and hotels with experience working on new build, design and build, refurbishment and fit-out projects. In short, they are looking for a multi-faceted Senior Quantity Surveyor that can work autonomously and add real value to the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Ideally degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
• Track record working for a reputable main contractor
• Experience working on a range of projects in multiple sectors
• Able to work autonomously on multiple projects at any given time
• Excellent commercial awareness
• Able to commute to Bedford, Bedfordshire on a daily basis
