Overview

Senior Project Manager - Defence & Security Sector

???? Boscombe (On-site with some flexibility)

???? £400-£450 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a high-profile defence, aerospace, and security organisation delivering complex refurbishment and new build projects on a secure site in Boscombe.

You’ll play a key role in leading end-to-end project delivery — from early-stage planning through to handover — with responsibility for driving programmes, managing stakeholders, and ensuring works are delivered to time, quality, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of refurbishment and new build projects within a live, secure environment
• Oversee full project lifecycle: design coordination, procurement, programme, and commercial oversight
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and key government stakeholders
• Manage risks, change control, and site-based project issues effectively
• Ensure all works comply with CDM regulations, health & safety protocols, and site security procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within defence, aerospace, secure government, or similarly complex sectors
• Track record in delivering refurbishment and/or new build projects (ideally within live operational environments)
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills
• Familiarity with NEC or JCT contract forms
• Active SC Clearance is highly desirable or must be eligible to obtain
