Senior Planner – London + Brighton - Major New Mixed Use Development

Pinnacle Recruitment is working on behalf of a major main contractor building three multi-million pound mixed-use development schemes in London. They are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support these exciting projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading organization, collaborating closely with project teams and surveyors to lead construction programmes, adjust project plans as needed, and advise on systems of working development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement appropriate techniques and sequencing based on each project's individual needs.
  • Determine logistics solutions and resources by investigating sites and local environments.
  • Prepare logistics plans.
  • Schedule labour, equipment, temporary works, design info, and procurement for each scheme.
  • Monitor progress and compare with projected schedules.
  • Use graphical and scheduled media to reflect progress and forecasts.
  • Utilize specialist planning software, including 4D.
  • Prepare logistics plans and write method statements.
  • Create visual schedules of work and present plans effectively.
  • Report findings and recommend solutions for delays.
  • Record relevant events for potential entitlement claims.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Positive, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and formal reporting skills.
  • Experience in contract and tender planning.
  • Preferably degree-qualified, minimum HNC or HND qualification.
  • Good working knowledge of 3D or 4D modelling.
  • Experience with Asta Powerproject, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and P6 software.
