Senior Planner - West Midlands
Location: Birmingham (with travel to sites across the Midlands)

A privately owned contractor, delivering high-quality private sector schemes valued up to £100m, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their growing team. The business is in a strong position, having recently secured £200m of new workload across the Midlands, providing excellent opportunities for career development.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Planner, you will bring your expert knowledge to develop planning and programming strategies aligned with project objectives while maintaining a clear understanding of client requirements for programme delivery. You will:

  • Attend interviews, presentations, and meetings as required, ensuring a thorough understanding of customer and project stakeholder needs.
  • Contribute your planning expertise, operational insight, and build methodology input to support bid submissions.
  • Develop strategic stage programmes for projects and undertake independent analysis of site progress to validate project team reports.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship, supporting the development of planning capability within the region.
