A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a band 6 Physiotherapist/Nurse to join the Community Respiratory Service. The role involves delivering pulmonary rehabilitation and supporting patients in community settings. Applicants must have experience in respiratory care and a driving licence. Are you a band 6 Physiotherapist/Nurse or band 5 looking for the next step in your career? Do you have community or respiratory experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our service in North East Essex.
The Community Respiratory Service is an integrated team of physiotherapists, nurses & support staff who deliver pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD optimisation, respiratory virtual ward, home oxygen & respiratory physiotherapy for people out of hospital. That may be in clinics, community venues or people’s homes.
You would be working with a team who are passionate about delivering community care to patients living with chronic respiratory conditions. The team work closely to support each other, problem solve with our complex patients, and work closely with our colleagues in Consultant lead palliative care.
Due to the nature of community work & the community locations for our clinics, a driving licence & access to a car are essential.
This is an exciting time for the service as we review & improve it to meet the standards for pulmonary rehab accreditation & increase uptake on our virtual wards.
