A prominent health organization in Wales is seeking a Senior Medical Secretary in Denbigh. The role involves managing office tasks, ensuring patient confidentiality, and proficiency in MS Office applications. Ideal candidates should have relevant qualifications and previous experience in medical administration. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary of £27,898 to £30,615 per annum.

Applications are invited for the position of a Band 4 Senior Medical Secretary within the busy Rehabilitation Services, based in Denbigh.
It is essential that applicants hold the relevant qualifications as per the person specifications, previous medical secretarial experience would be desirable as would a high level of audio typing skills and a good telephone manner.
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel as minute taking and report producing will also be required.
The post holder will possess excellent time management skills, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workload demands to meet strict deadlines whilst producing work to the highest standards.
The post holder must also have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using discretion, judgement and initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential together with a keen eye for detail, with the ability to process and generate urgent and routine correspondence.
Candidates must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a high standard of customer care at all times.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a flexible approach to work to meet the demands of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
