A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a 12-month contract in Newmarket. The successful candidate will have experience with Tier 1 M&E Contractors, especially on large Shell & Core commercial projects, and a strong Pipefitting background. Responsibilities include liaising with teams, resolving mechanical issues, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Excellent communication and people management skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 M&E Contractors on large commercial projects.
• Background in Pipefitting with relevant site experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with colleagues on timeframe and labour requirements.
• Respond to mechanical issues as they occur.
• Oversee direct labour or mechanical subcontractors.
• Complete mechanical site safety audits.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed.
