Job description
The Role

As the Senior Marketing Executive, you'll lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing activity across campaign management, marketing automation, and partnerships. Joining a small, hands‑on team of four and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with sales, operations, and external partners to build brand visibility and drive bookings for our Asia and South America tours. This role requires strong organisation, creativity, analytical thinking, and hands‑on marketing experience.

Campaign Management
  • Plan, create, and manage multi‑channel marketing campaigns to promote key sale periods, tour and destination launches, and ongoing promotions.
  • Liaise with designers and video editors, providing detailed briefs to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality campaign assets across paid and organic channels.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales and operations teams to ensure campaign alignment with wider business goals.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise based on data‑driven insights.
Content
  • Lead on website copywriting, including annual tour updates on The Dragon Trip's website, with support from marketing website assistant.
  • Contribute to content creation across the content calendar including email, blog, and other channels when required.
  • Ensure all content is consistent, engaging, and aligned with The Dragon Trip's brand voice, positioning, and audience.
  • Support the work of our SEO agency with content reviews, implementing best practice SEO recommendations, and maintaining a strong collaborative relationship.
Marketing Automation & Customer Journeys
  • Support the development of automated workflows within HubSpot to enhance audience engagement and conversion.
  • Contribute to designing and improving customer journeys through targeted marketing automation.
  • Support performance analysis of automated workflows and assist in implementing optimisations based on data insights.
Partnerships
  • Support collaborations with tourism boards and influencers to expand brand reach.
  • Assist in identifying and managing new partnership opportunities that strengthen the brand.
  • Track and evaluate partnership performance and leads, sharing insights and recommendations with relevant stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Track and report on key marketing KPIs, including website traffic, lead generation, engagement, and ROI.
  • Present monthly insights and recommendations to the wider team.
Skills & Experience
  • 3–5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within travel.
  • Knowledge of best SEO practices.
  • Excellent copywriting and content creation abilities (Canva preferred).
  • Experience with paid media and/or coordinating with agencies.
  • Confidence with CMS tools (WordPress preferred) and Google Analytics.
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
Preferred
  • Experience using HubSpot for CRM, email marketing, automation, reporting, and campaign management.
