A leading NHS Trust in Manchester seeks a candidate for a fixed-term position in its urology department. The role involves managing acute referrals, providing comprehensive in-patient and out-patient care, participating in MDT meetings, and supervising junior doctors. The duties of the candidate include management of acute referrals to the urology department, in-patient care, out-patient clinics, theatres, flexible cystoscopies, MDT and on-call. Other activities can be timetabled according to the skill set of the candidate and the needs of the service. All junior doctors, including the successful candidate, will be supervised and supported according to their level of experience and skills.

This post is a fixed-term position, available with immediate effect. Within MFT, urology services are currently spread across two sites – Wythenshawe Hospital (WY) and Withington Communicty Hosptial (WCH). Out-patient activity is undertaken at both sites, with in-patient services at WY site only. The successful candidate will have sessions at both Wythenshawe and Withington sites and may have the flexibility of delivering activity at the other sites according to the demands of the service and the candidate's professional development objectives.
