About the Role

We are looking for Senior Life Practitioners to join our team at Holmlea in East Markham, Newark.

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Senior Life Practitioner you will report into the Registered Manager. The Senior Support Worker is responsible for advocating and providing person-centred care and supporting our staff team to perform their wide range of duties appropriately and effectively, ensuring they can deliver the best possible care and support to our residents.

We provide a company vehicle that can be used to transport the people we support to community activities such as shopping, meals, appointments, and outings. To drive the company vehicle you must have held a full UK drivers licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more.

About You

What experience and qualifications do you need

• Level 2/ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable OR minimum of 3 years of experience of working as a support worker

• Experience of providing care and support to young adults, ideally young adults with disabilities, autism and complex needs

• Competent written and oral communication skills to include computer literacy
