Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java, minimum Java 8. Expected Java 11/21.
• Strong Perl experience.
• Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and Design experience.
• Strong experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Strong experience in web services. SOAP-based and RESTful.
• A solid understanding of databases.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for analysing requirements, estimating, designing, scoping, architecting, developing and unit testing capability.
• Demonstrate capability intent through authoring of design solutions, data modelling, process diagrams, and other supplementary information.
• Contributes to the planning and implementation of upgrade activities, including installation and configuration of software.
• Investigate operational IT incidents, applying effective fixes.
• Consult with stakeholders to identify project needs and drive positive outcomes.
• Utilises advanced technical expertise to optimise performance.
• Participate in development processes and practices (Agile).
• Coach and support associate and junior developers.
• Champion best practices, coding standards and provide technical steer.
