Job Title: Senior Hydrogeologist

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a well-respected, forward-thinking Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of projects across the hydrogeology and contaminated land fields. They are currently seeking a driven, experienced Senior Hydrogeologist who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects within the sector, based near the vibrant, culturally-diverse city of Birmingham.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:

• Overseeing projects and tasks from initial inception through to successful delivery, leading a team of professionals in the field
• Managing client and stakeholder relations
• Providing specialist hydrogeological support to water and environment projects
• Producing conceptual site models, data sets, numerical models, and risk assessments
• Preparing and reviewing technical documents for submission

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:

• A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Hydrology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
• Extensive experience of working in a hydrogeological role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
• Field experience, including drilling techniques, soil collection, groundwater and surface water monitoring, aquifer testing, etc.
• Demonstrable experience of leading a team, mentoring colleagues and delegating workloads
• Hold Chartered Status with a relevant professional body
• Possess a full, valid UK driving licence
• Experience of identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:

• A Master's or Higher Degree
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, as well as on your own initiative
