Role

Senior Facilities/Operations Manager — My client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the operational running of their head office in London. It is a fast-paced professional services company. This newly created role reports directly to the Operations Director and will have strategic oversight across the London and Europe offices.

Salary: £70-90k DOE
Location: West End, London
Working Hours: 5 days in the office, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Years of experience: 10+ years

Role overview
  • Manage and lead the operations for a large professional services firm who are driving for a top workplace experience.
  • Oversee vendors and contracts, ensuring service quality and budget adherence.
  • Manage a team of 3, ensuring everyone is aware of their duties, and work closely with Senior Management and the Operations Director.
  • Balance strategic and hands-on management across both hard and soft facilities.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage workplace operations - including hard and soft facilities services, vendor relationships, reception desks, internal events and budgets.
  • Monitor and optimise office space and services.
  • Project management.
  • Maintain a strong onsite presence and be approachable.
  • Present ideas and solutions confidently and clearly to senior directors and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements across London and Europe - working with operations teams in other offices.
Skills and experience
  • 10+ years’ experience within a senior operational role, within a large organisation.
  • Senior manager or director level experience, ideally managing multiple large office environments.
  • Confident and clear communicator with the ability to present concisely and professionally, while maintaining a friendly, approachable office presence in a fun team environment.
  • Confident, career-driven leader who thrives in a busy setting.
  • Happy with data analysis and ideally degree educated.
