Overview

Are you an experienced Senior Electronic Test Engineer with a background in RF, cellular systems, and electronics testing? Do you enjoy working hands-on with lab equipment and supporting innovative sales teams across exciting projects worldwide? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Working for an award-winning UK-based company specialising in cellular engineering, you will part of an organisation at the forefront of critical services to government, law enforcement and military forces.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment for customer demonstrations and field trials.
• Providing online and in-person technical support to both sales staff and customers.
• Traveling in-country and internationally (2-3 times per year) to set up equipment in aircraft, vehicles, or field environments.
• Assisting in production testing and assembly, including debugging circuit boards, integrating them into finished units, and ensuring functionality.

This role offers a balance of technical problem-solving, hands-on equipment work, and customer-facing support.

Qualifications

• RF engineering experience (cellular preferred).
• Good knowledge of PC networking and Wi-Fi systems.
• Proficient in using lab equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators.
• Strong PC and documentation skills for test procedures and reporting.
• Resourceful, self-reliant, and confident in problem-solving on the spot.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.
