We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our leading insurance business. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure and architecture.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data management and processing and contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will possess a strong technical background, ideally with proficiency in:

  • a programming language (preferably Python).
  • a data processing platform (Databricks, Spark, Snowflake).
  • building CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL.

We are also, looking for, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The team is growing with a focus on career development and progression within the business, so this is an exciting time to join a leader within the industry.

  • Design and implement scalable and robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

  • Develop and maintain documentation on data integration processes, data flows, and data lineage.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering, recommending, and adopting best practices.
