Role Summary

We are seeking a senior Kafka engineer to architect and implement a streaming backbone that powers Realtime communication across digital channels core banking and mainframe systems. This role will drive event driven architecture within a cell-based design ensuring seamless integration across cloud and on Prem environments

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Kafka clusters for high availability and scalability
• Design and implement producers consumers and connectors for complex integrations
• Configure and optimize Confluent components Schema Registry KSQL Control Centre
• Deploy Kafka on OpenShift and AWS leveraging container orchestration
• Build and maintain CICD pipelines for Kafka services
• Implement security frameworks SSL SASL ACLs and ensure compliance
• Drive performance tuning for low latency and high throughput
• Contribute to overall architecture decisions for event driven systems
