Job description

Future is a dynamic digital publisher and platform dedicated to connecting consumers with specialist content and services. We're seeking a Compliance Officer to be the specialist who translates complex regulatory updates, predominantly for Go.Compare, into actionable strategies.

This critical role involves leading the development and practical application of compliance policies across our organisation, specifically working closely with the Go.Compare team to approve consumer-facing content and conduct third-party due diligence. Your expertise will be vital in developing and managing compliance policies, processes, registers, and MI reports, while also designing and delivering focused compliance training across the business.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you'll support the execution of the compliance plan and contribute to the maintenance of a robust compliance framework, ensuring the PCW's operation, marketing, and comparison services consistently meet all FCA regulatory requirements and industry best practices, thereby safeguarding the firm's reputation and customer trust.

  • Approve consumer-facing content (website, marketing, emails) for compliance with FCA rules.
  • Develop and manage compliance policies, processes, registers, and MI reports.
  • Design and deliver focused compliance training.
  • Conduct due diligence and monitoring of third-party partners.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and mentor junior compliance and first-line staff.
  • Interprets regulatory requirements and implements practical, compliant solutions.
  • Monitor for regulatory compliance updates that could affect the company, its partners, and the industry. Responsible for translating these developments into actionable strategies and practical solutions to maintain full compliance.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • FCA Handbooks : Strong understanding of Consumer Duty, ICOBS, PROD, DPA, financial crime, and DISP.
  • Extensive experience and compliance knowledge of Financial Promotions.
  • Recognised industry compliance qualification.
  • Experience of practical application of rules and regulations within a financial services organisation.
