A leading global reinsurance provider in London seeks a Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter to join their Treaty underwriting team. The role involves assessing complex treaties, developing actuarial costings, and sourcing new reinsurance opportunities. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience and strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a numeric degree preferred. We are looking for an open minded, self-motivated, and business savvy Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter to join our Treaty underwriting team in London.
We are part of SR´s Reinsurance Casualty Treaty Underwriting unit working closely with our other underwriting units, transactions team and various other business functions. We are a multi-national team of around 22 operating out of London, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, Paris and Zurich with a wide variety of cultural and professional backgrounds.
Our work ranges from underwriting and pricing specific reinsurance transactions to managing the overall Casualty portfolio as well as shaping SR\'s reinsurance market positioning on Casualty lines.
