Job description

Job Title: Senior Care Assistant at HC One

As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of your work, impacting our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories, and joining us offers a chance to give back to them.

Your role involves planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, end-of-life care, and communication with families, always with kindness.

In collaboration with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you'll provide physical and mental stimulation through social activities and administer medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of your role.

Preferred qualifications include a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with a willingness to pursue Level 3. Experience with person-centered care planning and dementia care knowledge are advantageous. The essential qualities are positive energy, excellent communication, time management, and kindness.
