Join Our Team as a Senior Buyer! Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a vibrant manufacturing environment? Our client, a leading Manufacturing organisation based in Basildon, is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Buyer to join their newly formed Commercial team.

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our purchasing team, managing the procurement of products and components while ensuring quality and delivery targets are met. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with account management and operations teams to support our production line and meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and negotiate supplier prices, lead times, and delivery quotations.
• Analyse complex data to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Utilise MRP systems to enhance buying and quoting activities.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and key internal functions.
• Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 4 years of buying experience in manufacturing, especially with electronic products.
• Strong organisational, planning, and analytical skills.
• Confident in using stock or MRP systems; familiarity with IFS or Factory Master is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.
