Overview

The Wax Bar Morningside are looking for an extremely competent, experienced and talented individual to join our award winning team as Senior Beauty and Laser Therapist on a full time basis. Joining the team as a Senior Therapist would require you to work alongside The Wax Bar management team and the salon staff to ensure the high standards we pride ourselves on are maintained and the salon is run consistently with the brand.

We are open 6 days each week, from 9am and open late a few evenings during the week so flexibility is preferred for shift patterns. We can offer a 4 day working week if preferred.

We offer a range of treatments and it would be preferential to be qualified in most or all of these; however for the right candidate we would be able to offer additional training where required.

As our name suggests, we specialise in creating an individual wax experience for each and every client.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high salon standards in collaboration with management and staff to ensure brand consistency.
• Provide senior level expertise in beauty and waxing, supporting others as needed.
• Deliver a range of treatments and contribute to the development and training of team members.
• Support with consultations, service delivery, and aftercare recommendations to clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• HNC or equivalent with at least 2 years salon experience.
• A passion for waxing is essential; confident in all body waxing and intimate waxing using hot wax. Experience with Lycon waxing is advantageous, with conversion training available if competent in hot waxing with another system.
• Experience in Laser Hair Removal is desirable; understanding client needs, skin types, medical considerations, and home care recommendations. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in HD Brows, Threading, LVL Lashes, Brow Lamination (Fluffy Brows), and CND nail treatments is beneficial; training available for the right candidate.
