Senior Architect

Location: Haywards Heath

Salary: £45-50,000 (dependent on experience)

A distinguished architectural practice with over five decades of experience in the high-end residential and commercial sectors is seeking a Senior Architect to join its dynamic team in Haywards Heath. The practice delivers award-winning projects that blend innovative design with meticulous craftsmanship. The Senior Architect will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering projects from inception through to completion. This includes managing client relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of design and technical excellence.

The Role
  • Lead and manage architectural projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to achieve project objectives.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
  • Contribute to the practice\'s business development efforts, identifying opportunities for new projects and clients.
The Senior Architect will be
  • RIBA Part 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • Significant post-qualification experience in architectural practice.
  • Proven experience in leading and delivering architectural projects across various sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in producing detailed design and construction documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
