A local council authority in Sefton is seeking a Senior Approved Electrician to lead their Electrical & Security teams. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Sefton Arc Team. We are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Approved Electrician with a strong background in Fire and Security. Experience or knowledge in fire would be advantageous. The role involves managing, developing and supporting a team to deliver high-quality services with best practice in the delivery of Electrical and Security services by ensuring compliance, performance with continuous improvement and delivery of services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations within the Electrical & Security teams. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential elements for the post. This role will also involve supporting our other programmes and services in a holistic approach. You will be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information. We are looking for someone with good computer, organisational and interpersonal skills.
You will be managing a team that consists of:
A qualified Senior Approved Electrician with Fire & Security experience.
You'll play a vital role in shaping the future of Sefton Arc's Electrical & Security services, making a real difference to our service users and the wider community.
The post is a 39-hour week (36 hours plus 3 hours contractual).
