Qualifications

  • Qualified to a minimum of a degree in a Mechanical Engineering field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in managing design teams responsible for developing design concepts.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development of new product designs and define product structure.
  • Manage the conceptual development and maturity of product modules in Smarteam.
  • Lead design efforts for work packages and manage within the team.
  • Maintain the engineering quality and integrity of work produced.
  • Ensure successful integration of each design element with the product.

Skills

Understanding of Boeing and Airbus specifications for equipment installation and certification
Experienced user of CATIA V5
Strong knowledge of design for manufacture processes
Knowledge of Smarteam
Proven track record of effective design and on‑time / cost delivery of projects

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
