Job summary

A leading education agency is seeking a Team Teach Support Worker to join their team in Teesside. Qualifications

About the role

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Teach Support Worker / Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need additional support in their educational journey.

As a Team Teach trained professional, you will work alongside teaching staff to provide specialised behavioural support and create a safe, positive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Assignment Details:

This Monday-Friday role provides an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in at-risk learners’ lives within a dedicated SEN setting.

As a successful SEND Teaching Assistant with Connex Education Partnership, you will possess:
  • Hold a relevant Qualification in SEND or Teaching Assistant
  • Have experience working with individuals with SEN
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Confident in your behaviour management skills
  • Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people
  • Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through Connex
  • Team Teach trained - preferred
  • Be able to show proof of work in the UK
