Academics Canterbury is working with a dedicated specialist SEN school in Folkestone that is looking for an inspiring SEN Primary Teacher to join their committed team!

This welcoming school provides a nurturing setting for pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring that every child receives the emotional, social, and academic support they need to succeed. As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering tailored learning, building confidence, and helping pupils develop essential life and communication skills.

We are seeking an SEN Primary Teacher who brings creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of SEN needs. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or looking to step into a specialist environment, this is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans (EHCPs) that support academic progress and emotional wellbeing
  • Confidently deliver a diversity of Speech and Language Therapy interventions
  • Use creative, multisensory approaches to make learning accessible and enjoyable for all
  • Track progress, assess learning outcomes, and contribute to whole-school development
  • Ensure safeguarding of students

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Essential

Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students

£130 - £200 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only
