A leading facilities management company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Building Assistant to provide multi-skilled maintenance services. The role involves assisting on-site management and performing preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. Candidates should have experience in building maintenance, a strong customer care focus, and the ability to work flexibly. Better places, thriving communities. We are looking for an experienced Building Assistant to work with one of Mitie's clients to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service. The role sits within a team of 3 supported by an on-site management. We provide a wide range of facilities services to our client. PPM & Reactive works are predominantly transmitted via a CAFM system by a central helpdesk and received and administered via a hand held device. The variety of tasks and priorities encountered make it necessary for all engineers to be very flexible, physically fit and customer focused. A strong work ethic is essential to delivering the required standards. Some overtime may be required at times and will be agreed with the team as appropriate. You will be required to join the Callout rota covering reactive works outside of normal working hours.
