A leading engineering firm is seeking a Seismic Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team in Glasgow. The role involves seismic performance assessments, design, and analysis of safety-related facilities. Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree and experience in seismic assessments. A hybrid work arrangement is available, offering flexibility with office and site work.
Seismic Engineer at KBR. The Seismic Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approval Authority; the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes.
The role involves supporting current operations and future programmes within a multi-disciplinary engineering team. Specific responsibilities include applying seismic performance assessments, analytical and numerical methods for safety-related facilities, and contributing to the seismic design and substantiation of structures, plant and equipment.
The role is hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent either in the office in Glasgow City Centre or at site in Helensburgh.
