A leading acute hospital in the UK is looking for a Security Officer to ensure the safety of staff, patients, and visitors. Responsibilities include monitoring the CCTV system, responding to alarms, and assisting confused patients. Candidates should have a GCSE in English and Mathematics and experience in the security sector. This fixed-term role offers a full-time schedule and a salary ranging from £29,651 to £31,312 per year.
The Security Section exists for the safety of all staff, patients, and visitors to the Hospital site.
To be responsible for monitoring the CCTV System, responding to all alarms within the Hospital and responding to duress calls made by members of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors. To deal with any aggressive patients/visitors as necessary. To be responsible for parking on the site, providing directions to visitors, searching for patients missing from the wards, assisting confused patients back to their wards and helping Hospital staff moving patients around the site where appropriate.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
