The Government Property Agency (GPA) is the largest property holder in government, managing assets worth over £2.1 billion and overseeing more than 55% of the government’s office estate.

We are transforming the Civil Service by creating excellent workplaces, leading the UK's largest commercial office programme, aiming to halve carbon emissions from government offices, and delivering greater value for taxpayers. We seek innovative, solutions-focused individuals to join our team.

As representatives of His Majesty’s Government—the UK’s strongest covenant—we lead transformative initiatives such as the Government Hubs Programme, Whitehall Campus Programme, and Net Zero Programme, while providing modern, cost-effective real estate services.

Innovation and progress are central to our culture. We promote lifelong learning, curiosity, and self-improvement. We are committed to being an inclusive employer, emphasizing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), to meet the needs of government departments and civil servants who utilize our spaces.

Join our diverse team that leads with purpose—improving sustainability, fostering social value, promoting inclusivity and flexibility, and supporting economic growth. Be part of a purpose-driven environment where your impact matters, your voice is heard, and you can help shape our future.

The GPA is dedicated to representing the communities we serve by embedding Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion in all our activities. We particularly encourage applications from candidates who are disabled, ethnically or gender diverse, or identify as LGBTQ+.

The GovPass Programme is modernising Access Control Systems across HMG, establishing a new UK government standard for card encryption, enhancing building security, and enabling greater interoperability through innovative technology.

GovPass operates across the UK within HMG estates and iconic government buildings, with plans to expand further.
