Secondary School Cover Supervisor - Peterborough

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. Salary: £90 - £130 per day. Status: Permanent, Full Time/Part Time opportunities. Posted 26 Sep 2025; Closes 06 Oct 2025.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lessons across the curriculum in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
• Deliver pre-prepared work and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons.

Qualifications

• A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to pay for a new one.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A professional and flexible attitude.
• A Level 3 qualification or higher (A-Levels, CACHE, BTEC, NVQ).
• A university degree (particularly for those exploring a future in teaching).
