Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum

Position: Secondary Science Technician

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up equipment and resources for science lessons and experiments.
  • Maintain and organise laboratory equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Support teachers during practical sessions when required.
  • Ensure safe storage and disposal of chemicals and materials.
  • Carry out routine checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Provide technical support for science-based extracurricular activities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Science Technician (or similar role) desirable.
  • A science-related qualification (2:1 or above degree) preferred.
