School Administrator – Leeds (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week)

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only (5 days per week)

Salary: £95.00 - £120.00 per day

The Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive School Administrator to join their office team. This is a key role at the heart of the school, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff—delivering a warm and professional welcome.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate pupil and staff records using the school’s management information system (SIMS / Arbor or similar).
  • Support with admissions, attendance, and general office administration.
  • Assist with the preparation of letters, reports, and school communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team and teaching staff.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
About You
  • Friendly, approachable, and highly organised.
  • Experienced in an administrative role (experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential).
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and school databases such as SIMS or Arbor.
  • Able to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A great communicator with excellent attention to detail.
