Sales Account Manager (No Cold calling)

Nuneaton

£30,000 -£32000 per annum + 10% performance bonus

4 day working week (Monday-Thursday, 7 : 15 am - 5 : 45 pm)

Our client a leader in their field is now seeking a Sales Account Manager from a manufacturing or engineering background to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market

The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships is essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

To develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customers regular requirements.

Develop market categories & specifically new industries.

Log, track and maintain outbound activity via Salesforce.

Update customer information in our CRM & ERP.

Maintain market & competitor knowledge.

Maintain up to date product knowledge & competitor awareness which will enable you to offer alternative products when necessary

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience.

B2B Sales, Account management or Internal Sales background from a manufacturing or engineering background.

Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Proficient in Office 365 / Excel.

Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.

Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.

Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
