Overview
My well established Manufacturing and Distribution client are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team due to expansion in this busy and growing company.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming enquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
- Ensure all customer enquiries are addressed in a timely and professional way to maximise opportunities for business conversion.
- Drive profitable sales while maintaining the company's standards for quality, professionalism, and ethical trading.
- Manage each enquiry through to its conclusion, ensuring customer needs are fully addressed.
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations in a timely manner and conduct appropriate follow-ups to support process.
- Actively seek and identify new business opportunities, while remaining open to other potential revenue streams.
- Perform all necessary administrative tasks associated with customer queries and order processing in an organized and efficient manner.
- Support additional duties within your capabilities as requested, including covering for colleagues during periods of absence or high demand.
Key Skills
- Must have experience of working in a fast paced sales environment in a sales, account management or internal sales capacity
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
- Good negotiation skills and able to convert enquiries to sales
- Proactive in nature who thrives on working to sales targets
- Can do attitude and willing to learn and expand knowledge as you grow with the business
- Due to location it would be ideal if you drive and have your own transport
