Mobile Vehicle Technician

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for Mobile Vehicle Technician. This role is with one of the UK’s leading vehicle breakdown companies that provides a first-class service to thousands of customers. You would be entitled to a wide range of benefits from day one.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements
  • Level 3-qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent); however, candidates with a Level 2 qualification will be considered if they can demonstrate their qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
  • A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans.
  • Demonstrate technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
