This role involves conducting road safety audits and acting as the client representative on projects. An immediate availability is preferred. Competitive hourly rate of £40.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' demonstrable experience in a Highway Engineering or Road Safety Engineering role.
• Strong understanding of road safety audits, collision investigation, highway design principles, and safety improvement schemes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out road safety audits, reviews, and collision studies to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the delivery of road safety workstreams.
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and partner organisations to support project delivery.
