Join us as a Sales Manager

We are expanding our Road Logistics Division in the UK and seek a Sales Manager to lead our Branch Sales and Customer Service teams. If you have a proven sales management record, especially in Road Logistics and Freight services, this is your opportunity! You will develop sales strategies, lead a team of Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Customer Service Specialists, and drive revenue growth beyond targets. Building a high-performing team to identify and secure new business will be your key focus.

How you create impact
  • Develop and manage sales strategies to identify market opportunities and support growth, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, supporting account management and retention through excellent service.
  • Develop sales talent through coaching and training, ensuring team members are skilled in identifying opportunities and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure a seamless customer journey and satisfaction at every stage.
  • Manage and support the branch team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee financial performance, including managing the branch budget, financial forecasts, and business plans.
  • Monitor sales performance using CRM systems and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
What we would like you to bring
  • Experience managing teams across the full employee lifecycle, with success in employee engagement and performance management.
  • Previous sales experience in Forwarding/Logistics or similar industry.
  • Knowledge of international and domestic road logistics, including customs procedures and DAP/DDP solutions between UK and EU.
  • Proven success in B2B sales, driving growth and winning new business.
  • Strong computer literacy, organizational skills, and experience with CRM software.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
