Job summary

A healthcare organization in Manchester is seeking an RMN – Nurse Assessor to conduct assessments and manage complex risks within a community setting. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range of £40,000 – £45,000 with an additional car allowance of £2,400. The position involves office hours at home, travel for assessments in the North West, and attending various meetings. The candidate should have strong risk management skills and experience in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

  • Completing desk-based and face to face assessments of referred people for support.
  • Ensuring an APIE approach - Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating.
  • To review reports and evidence outcome measures to inform clinical practice.
  • Maintaining continuous professional development.
  • Able to identify and mitigate complex risks for a community setting.
  • To review pre-admission assessment in a timely manner.
  • Producing clinically informed assessments with robust risk assessment.
  • Identify measures to support people positively.
  • Attend internal and external MDT meetings.
  • Effective time management.
  • Record keeping ensuring accurate records.
  • Effectively working alongside stakeholders.
  • Proactively nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
Job description
RMN – Nurse Assessor

£40 – 45k + £2400 car allowance

Office hours at home then travel for face to face assessments in the North West, with occasional national coverage.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities of the RMN – Nurse Assessor
  • Completing desk-based and face to face assessments of referred people for support.

  • To maintain continuous professional development and be able to produce your CPD folder upon request.
  • Able to identify and mitigate complex risks for a community setting.
  • To review pre-admission assessment in a timely and professional manner.
  • Producing clinically informed assessments with robust risk assessment and identifying risk mitigation measures.
  • Identify measures to ensure people can be enabled through positive support.
  • Attend internal and external MDT meetings to further inform the assessment and risk mitigation process.
  • Effective time management.
  • Record keeping, ensuring that accurate, safe and contemporaneous records are maintained.
