Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SM&CR, regulatory reporting, and delegated authority structures.
  • Strong understanding of the three lines of defence and relevant insurance regulations.

  • Support the RCSA cycle and ensure risk registers are up to date.
  • Provide independent review and challenge of RCSA submissions.
  • Guide and advise on RCSA requirements and best practices.
  • Support risk training initiatives and board reporting.
  • Ensure risk policies remain current and effective.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support reporting.

Risk Analyst – Risk and Control Self-Assessment

Location: Brentwood or Manchester

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our Group Head of Risk with the implementation, oversight, and enhancement of our Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance the Group-wide risk framework.
  • Support the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) cycle and ensure risk registers and controls are up to date.
  • Provide independent review and challenge of RCSA submissions.
  • Guide and advise internal stakeholders on RCSA requirements and best practices.
  • Support risk training initiatives and twice-yearly board reporting.
  • Ensure risk policies remain current and effective across all entities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support board and ORSA reporting.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience in a risk or regulatory environment.
  • Familiarity with SM&CR, regulatory reporting, and delegated authority structures.
  • Strong understanding of risk frameworks, the three lines of defence, and relevant insurance regulations.
  • Relevant qualifications (preferred).
