Overview

Retail Assistant - Part Time, 8 hours, evenings & weekends. We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester. We offer a permanent part time position with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends. The role requires availability for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Pay & benefits

The amount you earn depends on your age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and greeting
• Help customers find items and provide fast, friendly service at the tills
• Assist with packing and ensure a good impression with a courteous goodbye
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, placing products onto freezers and shelves promptly
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• Enjoy being busy and able to switch between tasks such as deliveries, till work, customer assistance, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliability as part of a small team; others depend on you
• Flexibility with shifts; rosters planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work considered when planning shifts
